Thanks to everyone who came to the Shelter for our Open House with Santa!

A few weeks ago, Cari celebrated her dog Odie’s first birthday by holding a doggie birthday party in his honor at Posh Pets Boutique. Odie celebrated his big day with a Wizard of Oz themed celebration with five of his doggie friends. He played with toys and ate a doggie-safe birthday cake shaped like Toto…but in lieu of presents his mom did a very thoughtful thing; she asked Odie’s human birthday guests to bring donations for the Winchester SPCA. Her guests brought several donations of food and treats; donations that will be given directly to the animals at the SPCA.
We would like to thank Cari for her thoughtfulness and for remembering pets in need during Odie’s special day. Because of people like Cari, we are able to continue feeding homeless animals in our community day after day, year after year. Since the Winchester SPCA receives no outside funding from the ASPCA or other animal rescue organizations, we truly rely on our community for help with these animals.

Thanks to Dakota's Dream volunteers who will be at the shelter to clip nails, vaccinate, and de-worm.
