sponsors show to benefit the SPCA



On Saturday, July 21, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Grove’s Winchester Harley Davidson/Buell, Inc. sponsored Thunder and Lightning, an event to benefit The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) of Winchester, Frederick and Clarke Counties

The event featured a bike and corvette show and many motorcycles on display including customized choppers. Events included a human fire truck pull, hamburger eating contest, moon bounce, face painting, a 50/50 raffle and door prizes as well as other contests and “freebies.” Music for the event was provided by the band Joker's Wild. Admission and all proceeds were donated to theSPCA of Winchester, Frederick and Clarke Counties.

Additionally, the SPCA of Winchester, Frederick and Clarke Counties induct Grove’s Winchester Harley Davidson/Buell, Inc. as the very first member in their newly established Honorable Animal Lovers League (H.A.L.L.) of Fame. The H.A.L.L. of Fame program serves to promote compassion toward animals by recognizing people and organizations in the community who have exhibited a unique commitment to animal welfare.
