The Winchester SPCA relies on volunteers to help with many necessary tasks in operating an animal shelter. Volunteers 16 years and older are need to socialize animals (e.g. cat combing & dog walking), assist staff at the Thrift Store, and help with off-site adoption events and fundraisers. Younger volunteers can join our Junior Board. Activities for the Junior Board include helping at events, socializing animals at the shelter, painting and decorating our facilities. explain the terms of adoption and have you sign the contract for adoption.
